I'm 39 weeks pregnant and having lower back pain and pressure like i need to poop is this signs of labor?

First off this is baby number 3, and with the other two i was induced so this is all new too me.... the doctor said i was only dialted to a 1 and very thick but i have been having greenish discharge for the last week and serve swelling in my feet from day to day, all day today I have had constent lower back pain and i have felt like i have to poop but cant is this a sign of labor?

The green discharge could be your mucous plug and yes all that is definitely a sign you are in early labor. Just start doing lots of walking around the house and when the pain gets worse head to the hospital!! The feeling of having to go #2 concerns me that you could be more dilated than you realize...i'd head to the hospital now just to get checked..God bless you,your baby and the delivery!! Congrats!!

wow i would say so... only because the lower back pain would be contractions and the feeling of you needing to push...... that sounds like baby is trying to come. i have 3 kids 1,2 and 3yrs old plus im 35 weeks preggers. when i was having back pain they were contractions and i only got that with this pregnancy but when i felt all that pressure it was with my second and it was so much pressue i couldnt even sit flat down on my bottom..... i got o the hospital and was 9cm dilated you should call labor and delivery nurse and tell her whats going on and see what she thinks?

My due date is tomorrow and I am having the same thing and I was induced with my first 2 also. My back is really getting bad. I don't have any swelling though. I think you should go to hospital just to get checked and I think I should take my own advice and do the same. GL to you.
