Best Answer:

Pretty much any company that pays a subsistence wage is going to attract highly trained dancers and be very competitive to get into. When major companies like the New York City Ballet lay off dancers, they need to go somewhere else (or give up dancing), so all the companies down the line have their pick of amazing dancers. Whenever you're interested in a company and wonder about your chances of getting in, just go to their website to see if they post bios of their dancers. Here are the bios for Orlando Ballet: http://www.orlandoballet.org/about/dancers.html Judge for yourself to see how you measure up in comparison. Edit to ask/clarify: You WERE asking in terms of being hired professionally, right? Otherwise, getting into summer intensives is a completely different story.

I've gone to a summer intensive at Orlando Ballet, and I really thought my training improved while I was there. North Carolina School of the Arts would be a good one to try as well.
