I laugh away when someone is snotty towards me. Then they get all mad. Why? This chick is snotty towards everyone. She rolls her eyes and acts like she is so much better then everyone else. I haven't done anything to this girl.

Maybe thats just your interpretation? They may not be being snotty at all. Could be that you are just insecure. They are not mad, they are wondering why you are acting so inappropriate.

It is not a normal reaction to the situation"inappropriate laughter" is what is commonly called.The other person is trying to get a point across and they feel invalidated by your response.Example you express your concern about the office microwave not being cleaned by the person you just saw make it a mess,you ask them to clean up their mess and that person busts out laughing at you.How would you feel?
